He is currently writing and rehearsing material for his debut solo album and promoting his other jazz projects including -

He is currently teaching saxophone and ensembles as a Principal Lecturer for Leeds College of Music (LCoM) and at Hull University on there music degree courses.
Jim also teaches saxophone for Leeds University, York, and Sheffield Universities.
Previous to the Mark Ronson tours Jim toured the world for two years with Grammy award winning singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae after recording on her number one multi platinum selling self titled album. Jim can be heard on many of the tracks including 'Put Your Records On', 'I'd Like To', 'Breathless' and 'Trouble Sleeping'- (you can also see Jim performing in the Trouble Sleeping music video).

UK based Saxophonist and Educator Jim Corry is a recognised and respected performer, having toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, US, Japan, South America, Russia, South Africa and Australia. With numerous performances at internationally recognised venues, he continues to develop his reputation and international profile as a talented and versatile musician.
After graduating from LCM with a BA Hons in Jazz Studies he started playing professionally, quickly establishing himself in the North's thriving music scene. In the years that followed Jim became well known amongst his contemporaries branching out from playing Alto exclusively and becoming comfortable on Soprano, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones and has performed on these throughout the world in a variety of musical settings and genres.
Most recently Jim has been recording and touring with the Roy Wood and Martha Reeves and previous to this Jim toured the world with Jamiroquai and was featured on their number one platinum selling album 'Rock Dust Light Star'. He toured with the band from 2010-2016 and highlights included supporting Stevie Wonder at Rock In Rio Brazil and Hyde Park London, performing at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony, performing at Sydney Harbour New Years Eve Concert, a South American tour and four summer festival tours to date.
Before Jamiroquai, Jim toured extensively with Brit award winning producer Mark Ronson with whom he was lucky enough to work and perform with artists including; Jay-Z, Lilly Allen, Duran Duran, Rhymefest, Wiley and Daniel Merriweather. Jim has recently recorded again with Mark Ronson for The Gossip's forth coming album.
